The Nomadic Museum is the name given to a temporary structure composed of 156 shipping containers, housing the "Ashes and Snow" photography exhibit of Gregory Colbert. The structure was built on Pier 54 in New York City to house the exhibit in 2005, then was dismantled, moved to, and reassembled in Santa Monica, California in early 2006.

The structure, an example of the unusual field of shipping container architecture, was designed by architect Shigeru Ban, architect Ombra Bruno (interiors) and Alessandro Arena (Light design) with the engineers Buro Happold, and the exhibition is supported by the philanthropic arm of Rolex. As of March 2007 the structure is located in Odaiba, Tokyo where it will remain until the end of June.
