Nolan Bluntzer

Nolan Bluntzer was born in August 20 1980 in the small south central Texas town of New Braunfels. His father was an attorney and his mother was school teacher. Upon graduating from high school, he attended the University of California at Berkeley on a football scholarship. While participating in college football, he received second team Pac-10 academic achievement honors, and started a total of thirteen games in his college football carrer. His most memorable game cam in October 2002 when California defeated second ranked USC in triple overtime. Mr. Bluntzer excelled in the classroom as well as on the football field. Majoring in Conservation Resource Studies he graduated with a 3.0 G.P.A. in May of 2004. Following graduation, Nolan traveled around the world in search of many adventures. From Picking bananas on a plantation in Australia to living in arid desert of south texas guiding deer hunts, Mr. Bluntzer has lived his dreams. However, he is best known for his ability to make custom fly rods. Currently, he resides in Boerne Texas where he builds rods and enjoys his days fishing.
