Company Nokian Capacitors Ltd., which is established in 1957, is a company that designs and manufactures equipment and systems for reactive power compensation and harmonic filtering such as low- and high-voltage power capacitors and air-reactors. The factory is located in Tampere, Finland and the company employs approx. 230 people.

A new reactor manufacturing plant was opened 2005 and the company received the Finnish Internationalization Award in that year.
