The Nokia N93i is a smartphone by Nokia. It was announced on Jan 8th, 2006. It is an enhanced version of Nokia N93. The improvements include:

  • Sleeker design
  • Reduced volume and weight
  • 16M colours (256K colors in Nokia N93)

Nokia N93i uses a 960 mAh Li-Ion battery (BL-5F), which has a lower battery life as comapred to Nokia N93 at a 1100 mAh Li-Ion battery (BP-6M). It is available in 3 colors which vary by region: Granite Black, Plum and Silver.

The N93i started shipping in January 2007.

The N93i used a different marketing strategy by incorporating Dallas based Punk rock group Greyskull in its APAC campaign. Running an on-line competition in which contestants can submit their own videos to the bands songs. Ads featuring the band Greyskull were run in newspapers and commercials on MTV asia.
