Noitora (ノイトラ?) is a character in the manga series Bleach. He is an arrancar in Sōsuke Aizen's army.

Noitora is an extremely tall and lanky arrancar, dwarfing Chad by at least a foot, even when leaning over. He has long, black hair and always wears a huge smile on his face which reveals his upper teeth. He wears an eye patch, six bracelets, and his arrancar uniform includes an overblown, spoon-like hood. He seems rude and lecherous, accented by his snake-like eyes and his name for Orihime Inoue, "pet-sama". The remains of his hollow mask and hole are not visible, though his eyepatch may be the only remnant left, or they may simply be hidden by his hood. Despite the fact he initially comes off as very sadistic, he has no desire to kill those he sees as weaklings because it doesn't help prove that he is the strongest Espada.
Despite his fragile and thin appearance, Noitora is quite powerful, able to fend off the full power of Chad's attack arm without any sign of injury and cut through his defense arm in a single swing. His rank is unknown, but his conversation with the arrancar Tesla implies he is not the top-ranked Espada, though he thinks of himself as such and is constantly trying to prove it.

[edit] Hueco Mundo arc
Noitora first appears when Aizen gathers the Espada to inform them that Hueco Mundo has been invaded by Ichigo Kurosaki, Uryū Ishida, and Chad. He comments that it would be "awesome" if the intruders had arrived directly in the meeting room. Overall though, Noitora seems unimpressed by the invaders, despite Aizen's claim that they shouldn't be underestimated. This leads to a brief argument with the female Espada, Halibell. Aizen commands them to ignore the threat and act normal. Noitora isn't happy with just doing nothing, so he actively begins hunting Chad (the nearest intruder) after a brief conversation with Ulquiorra regarding Orihime.
Noitora tracks Chad down just as Chad defeats Gantenbein. Chad assumes that, from Noitora's appearance, Noitora will move slowly and that ending their battle in a single strike will be best. This backfires, and Noitora remains unfazed after taking a direct hit. Noitora then cuts through Chad's defense arm (and his chest) with only a single slash. He spares Chad, reasoning that killing a weakling will do nothing to prove his strength. He decides to go after the next-closest intruder. Rukia Kuchiki is actually the closest, but Aaroniero Arleri has already caught up to her, so he elects to pursue the person he believes has the strongest spiritual power.
To Noitora's surprise, Chad gets up and attempts another attack, but is stopped by Tesla. Chad collapses once again after his attack fails and Noitora threatens Tesla for interfering in his fight. Tesla explains that defeated enemies make their last blow count, but Noitora cockily replies, "Not a soul in this universe can break this body of mine." Noitora claims he is the strongest Espada and that he will do anything to be recognized as such; it is his determination to be recognized which implies that he is not the current top-ranked Espada, but thinks he should be.

The name of Noitora's zanpakutō has not been revealed, but it takes the form of a giant scythe or axe-like weapon bearing two crescent moon blades with a chain at the hilt that attaches to his waist. Although the chain has been shown in Noitora's previous appearances, no sign of the zanpakutō itself are shown with it, suggesting that it either takes that form when unsealed or is able to change shape when not in use.
