Noga Alon

Noga Alon is an Israeli mathematician noted for his prolific contributions to combinatorics and theoretical computer science, having authored hundreds of papers. He received his PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1983 and is currently on the faculty of Tel Aviv University.

Alon is the principal founder of the powerful Combinatorial Nullstellensatz which has many applications in combinatorics and number theory.
