Talk:Nod technology of Command & Conquer
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cabal can have his own article theres enough info for it besides it would free up some space for stealth and other nod techs which should form the base for this article but are sadly absent. Jamhaw 21:03, 26 June 2006 (UTC)jamhaw
[edit] "Our directives must be reassessed".
It isn't "only CABAL's voice" saying that. It's a mix of both CABAL and Kane, and the fact it suddenly says "our" instead of "my" is an indication that CABAL and Kane's minds have become one. Nyerguds 19:05, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Alien technology
Since the factual accuracy is disputed...
Sources:
1. Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun manual - "Experiments with recovered alien technology have allowed Nod to develop the next generation of fighter aircraft"
2. The Banshee is referred to in game mechanics as Scrin, and Scrin is widely accepted as the name for the alien race the tech originally belonged to. Not to mention that the plasma weapons are reported as "scringuns"
3. Cutscene intro to mission 5 of the Nod Tiberian Sun campaign, Kane states that the ship was CONSTRUCTED by Nod at the end of the First Tiberium War. I connected this to the construction of the Obelisk (in cutscenes) and Temple of Nod, since the exteriors and interiors of the Scrin Ship are very, very similiar and given the nature of C&C it's not a coincidence.
4. Research outpost set up in the ancient temple ruins near the crashed spacecraft, indicating research taking place there.
5. The crashed saucer in Renegade is full of Nod personnel and mutants serving Kane.
6. (insert witty remark)
I think this is strong evidence, enough to warrant a separate section in the article. Mikael GRizzly 22:27, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- Evidence sounds reasonable. --Eldarone 03:37, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
