Noble M400

The Noble M400 is a car from the British car maker Noble. It is famed for its handling and speed. It has a max power of 425 bhp @ 6500 rpm, with a torque figure of 390 ft·lbf @ 5000 rpm. It lightness gives it great agility and its powerful engine gives it an impressive power to weight ratio of 401 bhp/ton (hence the name M400) and a 0 - 60 mph of 3.5 seconds. The UK auto TV show Vroom Vroom said that the M400 gave Ferrari Enzo performance at Porsche 911 price.

The mid mounted, transverse, 2968 cc V6 (the Ford Duratec engine also used in the Ford Mondeo), twin turbocharged dohc, 4 valves per cylinder has rear wheel drive benefiting from high-lift camshafts, larger turbochargers and revised fuel injection all contribute to give a top speed of 185 mph.

The engine can pull strongly up to its 7200 rpm limiter. Noble has used forged pistons, an oil cooler, a larger baffled oil sump and extra cooling ducts to maintain its durability. The car has an all-new gearshift, which moves through a quicker and more precise gait.

The M400 is featured in the Project Gotham Racing 3 racing game for the Xbox 360.
