Rabbi Noah Weinberg is the founder and rosh yeshiva ("dean") of the Aish HaTorah yeshiva based in Jerusalem and guides its worldwide network of rabbis and its programs and activities.

He graduated from the yeshivas of Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Berlin (located in Brooklyn, New York) and Ner Yisrael (Baltimore, Maryland) in the United States.

He established a baal teshuva yeshiva for assimilated young men in 1966 in Jerusalem. The 1967 Six Day War greatly increased the curiosity of young Jews estranged from, but fascinated with their Jewish heritage. Aish HaTorah was established in 1974 and the organization has since grown exponentially, due to Rabbi Weinberg’s ability to convey to young Jews the traditions of their forefathers, which leads many of them to follow observant Judiasm and Torah study in the name of taking responsibility for the Jewish future.

Rabbi Weinberg is regarded as a pioneering Jewish educator, whose teachings emphasize a close relationship with God, and maximizing one’s pleasure in this world through meaningful activities. Many of these topics are explored in his book, "What the Angel Taught You" (ArtScroll Publications). His tape series, "48 Ways to Wisdom," is popular throughout the Jewish world.
