No Siop

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

No Siop ("poison" spelled backwards) was a cartoon graphic of the early 1980s. Similar to Mr. Yuk, it was associated with an American anti-poison campaign, targeted at children, with the aim of preventing them from drinking poisonous chemicals around the home.

No Siop appeared as a green snake. No Siop stickers were distributed through schools and youth organizations for parents to label potentially dangerous chemicals, such as household cleaners, medicines, and the like.

At this time, neither the National Capital Poison Center nor the American Association of Poison Control Centers have an image of No Siop on file.
