Zane has reached the bottom of the barrel, losing duel after duel, his endorsement deals, and being kicked from the Pro Leagues. Mr. Shroud offers Zane a chance to duel in an underground arena, telling him it will be his rebirth into the dueling world. Zane accepts, unaware of how prophetic Shroud's words will become.
