No Good (Start the Dance) was the eighth single released by the British electronica/rave act The Prodigy on 16 May 1994. It was the second single from the album Music For the Jilted Generation.
The original sample "You're no good for me, I don't need nobody" is by Kelly Charles and comes from the single "You're No Good For Me" (1987, London Records LONX153). Liam Howlett had doubts whether to use the sample because he thought it was too pop for his taste.
It is often considered to be one of the biggest Dance hits in Electronica history, and has been featured on countless dance album Compilations.
The video was directed by Walter Stern and took place in an underground warehouse, which featured people dancing to the song whilst the band members prowl around.
The Australian release of the single, is sometimes referred to as the Australian Dance Tour - EP, since it was only released in Australia around the time of The Prodigy's tour there.
