No Duct Tape

"No Duct Tape" was the 19th and final episode of the tenth season of the popular Canadian television series The Red Green Show.

In this episode, a canoe race competition is being held between Possum Lodge and Caribou Lodge, and the canoe needs repairs. Red goes to get a roll of duct tape and discovers that there isn't any there. Dalton calls the Hardware store in town to order more.
"This is an emergency. I may have to close the lodge," says Red.
Dalton finds out that the Hardware store is on back order. They won't have any for 2-3 weeks. Panic ensues as Red and Dalton try to recycle duct tape. Mike Hammer rushes in with a role of silver tape, its masking tape painted gray. Red feels he has only one option: to open the "DO NOT BREAK UNLESS OF EMERGENCY!" box. Behind the glass sits a roll of duct tape.
"That's been there for over 50 years," says Dalton.
Sure enough, the roll and all crumbles to dust. Ed Frid saves the day when he tells Red that there is plenty of duct tape in the attic.
