No. 635 Squadron RAF

No. 635 Squadron RAF was a bomber squadron of the Royal Air Force during the Second World War.

The squadron motto was Nos Ducimus Ceteri Secunter (We lead, others follow).

It was first formed at Downham Market in Norfolk in March 1944, equipped with Lancaster I bombers, as part of No. 8 Group RAF in Bomber Command.

It re-equipped with Lancaster III bombers the same month, then Lancaster VI bombers in July, and was disbanded at Downham Market in September 1945.
