Shangri-La Dee Da (2001) |
No. 4 was the fourth CD released by Stone Temple Pilots on October 26, 1999, by Atlantic Records. The album combined elements of heavy metal, psychedelic rock, and alternative rock. The album failed to sell well (it was certified platinum) largely because Stone Temple Pilots was unable to promote the album while singer Scott Weiland was in rehab. The song "Down" was nominated for best Hard Rock performance at the Grammy Awards.
