NLS Crew

NLS Crew was a band formed in February 2005 by Nigga Bullshit (aka Devonte Hynes), Sam E Danger (aka Sam Mehran), Velour Gangsta (aka Deano Jo) and Ben.L.S (aka Ben Rayner).
NLS Crew amalgamized the music of Crunk, West Coast Rap, Thrash Metal and Electro, quite similarly to Nigga Bullshit and Sam E Danger's primary band Test Icicles. NLS Crew, which stands for Next Level Shit, was a name taken from Sam E Danger's Australian childhood friends who used the term to describe anything of quality.
In April 2005 the band self-released a 4 track ep made entirely of music made from the Zoom SB-246.
They have played two shows to date, in Liverpool and London, both supporting Death from Above 1979 in May 2005.
Death from Above 1979 released the 'Sammy Danger NLS Edit' remix of their track 'Black History Month' in June 2005 on 679 Recordings.
Although the band have announced an indefinite hiatus, the term NLS is currently still being used repeatedly by the dj team/production group Acid Slutz featuring Devonte Hynes and Jitset.
