The Nishinippon Shimbun (西日本新聞 Nishinippon Shinbun?, lit. West-Japan newspaper) is a Japanese language daily newspaper published by The Nishinippon Shimbun Co., Ltd (株式会社西日本新聞社 Kabushiki-gaisha Nishinippon Shinbunsha?). As of May 2006, it has the circulation of a million as a total of morning and evening editions. Headquartered in Fukuoka, Fukuoka, the newspaper covers readers over Kyūshū, Okinawa and Yamaguchi Prefecture.

The Nishinippon Shimbun sponsors the Prince Takamatsu Cup Nishinippon Round-Kyūshū Ekiden, the world's longest relay race.
