Nishina Morinobu

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nishina Morinobu (仁科盛信, 1557-1582), also known as Takeda Harukiyo, was adopted into the Nishina family of Shinano in 1561 as another son to Takeda Shingen.

When Morinobu came of age, he defended Takato Castle in Shinano Province, along with one of his allies, Oyamada Masayuki, against the Oda army in the year of 1582. Before the castle was to fall, and Morinobu to reach his end through his own suicide, he told Oda soldiers of his prediction of Oda Nobunaga's end to be soon at hand.
