NIR 3000 Class

The Class 3000 (C3 class) is a class of diesel multiple unit in service with Northern Ireland Railways. Built by CAF of Spain, twenty-three 3-car sets entered service between 2004 and 2005 in an order totalling £80 million. The trains are capable of speeds of up to 90mph (145 km/h), seat 201 and have standing room for 280 passengers.
