[edit] An checking on rights
Hi, Nima. I have a campus photo and am checking on getting the rights to use it. TimidGuy 12:45, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Paul Hellyer.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Paul Hellyer.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu badali (talk) 17:46, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] List of major UFO sightings
LUE.F.O was a hoax, looking through Google results can show that. The citation needed is pointless, it'll never get a citation because there are none supporting its validity. It's called LUE.F.O because the message board that planned the hoax is called LUE. So yeah, I request you delete it. -WikiXan 22:44, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Glad you like it.
That's what happens when I get bored. I get an overdose of UFO-related articles! I took a small break now, but soon I'll be back adding new info. Victao lopes 01:15, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WP:TT
Hi. You may want to consider putting WP:TT warnings on user talk pages before bringing them to WP:ANI. WP:AIV is a good place to go after level 4 warnings. 151.202.74.135 23:06, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks!
Hi, Nima. Thanks for all the work you've done on the Maharishi-related articles. You must have spent hours. You've improved them a lot. TimidGuy 17:05, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for the tip.
Now, I've got a small problem...I've tried to create the article about Esteban Peñate (which you listed at UFO sightings in Spain) twice, but it's been deleted. It has nothing different from the other articles I've created. I'm gonna try it again for the third time now. Would you take a look at it to see what could be making editors delete it, before they do it? Victao lopes 18:53, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Warnings
Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to Final Fantasy VII, even if your ultimate intention is to revert them. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Level 2 was used because level 1 did not apply, even though you did this in good faith. --Ashfire908 16:47, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, I have a habit of using the wrong words. I only meant to suggest that if you want to see how something looks, use the sandbox to test it instead of the article. I did not imply any wrong doing on your part. Sorry about this. --Ashfire908 16:53, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Esteban Peñate
I've speedily deleted this article - it does not assert notability (it actually asserts non-notability by calling it a common phenomenon), making it a candidate for speedy deletion under A7. --Coredesat 00:53, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I userfied it here. Feel free to let Victao lopes know so you two can work on it. --Coredesat 03:10, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
The article looks somewhat different from before, but still does not assert notability, and it still only has one source. You need multiple non-trivial and independent sources attesting to notability. Check out WP:BIO. --Coredesat 11:09, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your GA nomination of Ghost rockets
The article Ghost rockets you nominated as a good article has failed , see Talk:Ghost rockets for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of said article. If you oppose this decision, you may ask for a review. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vassyana (talk • contribs) 05:35, 22 March 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Re:Maharishi Mahesh Yogi
Yes, I have been keeping up to date on the article - and it still contains various unreferenced claims. Sfacets 14:37, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Esteban Peñate
I couldn't find any. If it seems impossible to create this article, let's give up, then...but I was wondering why hadn't they done anything like this before, as most of my articles feature only one source (except for the ones edited by you). Anyway, I'll try to find one, but I'm not sure if it actually exists. Victao lopes 23:52, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- OK, and sorry for the double posting.Victao lopes 23:57, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] RE: Image:Phoenix_lights_first_1_daily.jpg
I believe the best place for that is the Wikipedia:Fair use review (which is also noted on the review tag). Follow the instructions on the page and have either you or the other user file it on that page. Hope this helps.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 00:00, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 2004 Mexico Incident
Nima, on March 06, 2007 you reported a Jacques Vallée quotation from the Allan Hynek page as beeing a wrong one to the administrators. Result was: the quotation was correct ! Same will happen with this Mexico Incident: it has been clearly debunked, just Oil well lights, nothing more. 84.133.53.179 00:05, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- THere was no citation given that the quotation was true, i was not debunked, all that happened is we got a citation that showed it was true, i did not disagree with it, I just could not agree with it b/c there was no citation... as for the ufo listings, there is no need to show your debunk b/c it is already listed in the article (:O), the ufo sighting article just states the sighting, not whether or not it was bebunked (:O) -Nima Baghaei (talk) 02:25, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- In this case the sighting article states a "wrong sighting" as it just was a nice story made up by Jaime Maussan. As a consequence that "sighting" has to be deleted or at least shown as debunked.84.133.35.26 03:48, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
-
- Once again you talk as if your positive it did not occur, this is your opinion based on the research of others, you will NOT delete this data b/c you feel it is wrong, you may try to share sources informing the audience why you feel it is faked (:O) -Nima Baghaei (talk) 04:20, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
