Nilgiri Class Frigates built by MDL
The Indian Navy built 6 Leander Class frigates from 1972-1981 at Mazagaon Dock Mumbai. Leander Class frigates, also known as Nilgiri class frigates, form the 14th Frigate Squadron. 4 ships are in service, and two have been decommissioned.
