[edit] License tagging for Image:LMR05.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:LMR05.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 10:05, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:JonasLidstromer.jpg listed for deletion

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:JonasLidstromer.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it, but use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Erik Swanson 08:51, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Notability Studio L2

Welcome to Wikipedia! We could really use your help to create new content, but your recent additions, such as those you made to STUDIO L2, do not assert the notability of their subjects and have been reverted or removed. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

Please note, this is not a 'homepage' or a place to create commercial websites, this is an encyclopedia. RichMac (Talk) 11:11, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

RE: Changes. This business still fails to meet wikipedia notability guidelines. Please see Wikipedia:Notability RichMac (Talk) 11:17, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
I never deleted your page, and administrator did that user:Cryptic see [1]. Again, please read Wikipedia:Notability for guidelines on what should and should not be encluded in this encyclopedia. RichMac (Talk) 11:37, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Removal of AFD Notices

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Demiurge 11:36, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Please stop removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Louise Lidströmer — it is considered vandalism. You may comment at the respective page if you oppose an article's deletion. Thanks. Demiurge 11:44, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your call for help

Firstly, my apologies for the delay in answering; I Have only just logged on.

Before I answer, can I ask you, when you send messages, to sign them in the wiki way? You do this either by adding four tilde signs (~) is a tilde, or by clicking on the ikon at the top of the text page, more or less in the middle, to the right of the red one.

Okay, now. If you go to your articles you will see the {{AfD}} box at the top of the screen. Do not remove this, this is very naughty. But if you click on the link on the second line "see articles entry", it will take you to the discussion page, where you can see the concerns held by some editors about the articles. These concerns appear to be essentially two-fold. It would seem that you have not included enough references for the statements made; this you can correct, I expect. The other difficulty is that there is a policy in wikipedia not to submit articles about projects with which the editor is closely associated. Unless you can change the articles so as to distance yourself from them, you have a problem. You are allowed - even encouraged - to change the wording of the articles to address these concerns. If they go, please do not be discouraged. We all start somewhere. All friends here. Happy wikying.--Anthony.bradbury 14:17, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
