Nikolai Kondratenko

Nikolai Ignatovich Kondratenko (Николай Игнатович Кондратенко) is a Russian politician. Born 16 Feb 1940 in Plastunovskaya. He was the runner-up candidate of the Communist Party (KPRF) in 2003. Kondratenko was criticized for public Anti-semitic statements. Kondratenko was a governor of Krasnodar Kray in 1997-2001. Preceded by Nikolai Yegorov, succeeded by Alexander Tkachyov.
The Moscow Helsinki Group blames Kondratenko for officially supported xenophobia in his area.
