Nikola Hajdin is a President of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts as a member of Department of Technical Sciences. As a construction engineer, he built many bridges in former Yugoslavia most prominently New Railway Bridge. He was also a University professor. He is also a member of European Academy of Sciences and Arts.
