Nightshift is a half hour magazine-style TV show based in the San Francisco Bay Area hosted by Asian-Americans, Brian Tong, Sabrina Shimada, and Pete Mar. The program provides a unique perspective on special events, indie films, and emerging artists such as MIA, Bloc Party, White Rose Movement, Paramore, Muse, The Academy Is, and lesser known artists local to the San Francisco Bay Area music scene. The program also features comedy sketches involving the hosts as well as indie film reviews conducted by the hosts. Nightshift airs on predominantly Asian-targeted TV stations: Saturdays at midnight in the San Francisco Bay Area on KTSF, UHF Channel 26/cable 8, Saturdays at 5:30p and Sundays at 8:30p on KBCB, UHF Channel 24/cable 14 in Seattle, and Sundays at 6p in Sacramento on KBTV VHD Channel 8/cable 238.
