[edit] Gameplay
The Arcade Game depending on the Cabinet would be up to 1-2 or 1-3 Players and would have a 8-way Joystick with 3 buttons. One Action Button for Melee Attacks, One for Jumping and the 3rd for the Characters Two Unique Special Attacks (One for on the Ground and One used while Jumping.) to help them out of tight situations such as boss battles or crowds of enemies oncreen but would take a small fraction of your energy bar in the process. If The Attack and Jump Button were both pressed at the same time Would do another special but would also result in a small fraction of your lifebar being gone. There is Also a Charging Attack that can be used when holding down the Action Button for a few seconds but if held longer would make your Character Dizzy, depending on the character when grabbing an enemy can either do a Throw move or a Piledriver/Suplex type attack. For Items White Suitcases can be found containing a random Power-up or health Item that can only be openned when picked up and thrown at an enemy. At the end of Mostly Every Two Stages there would be unusual Bonus Mini-Games. One similar to Whack-A-Mole involving stepping on Zombie heads and another involving throwing a creature into a group of creatures lined-up like bowling pins.
[edit] Characters
The player(s) play the role of one of three heroes:
Jake an American Monster Hunter and Street Brawler with cybernetic arms and Mastery of the Lightning Element.
Christopher a Europeon vampire hunter and Martial Artist who has mastery over Water and Ice.
And Hong Hua, an asian female martial artist who is proficient with mystic arts and mastery of the Fire Element.
[edit] Arcade Differences
In the Japanese version :
- The gore is uncensored (red blood instead of green but in the Overseas Version has Dipswitch Options to change Blood Color and Violence Level.)
- At the end of a melee attack, Christopher holds out a cross instead of a blue crystal ball.
- The Go arrow flips over to read 'To Hell!' in blood.
- Extra pictures and dialogue in the cutscenes.
- In both Emulated Versions (English or Japanese.) Whenever a critical attack occurs, a Kanji symbol appears instead of the word "Smash!"
- In both versions The game has 3 different endings since Each Character has an individual ending depending on who you finsh the game as.
[edit] Emulation
It is only available for MAME emulators in various ROM sites to download from since there has never been a home console version of the game.
