Night's Child is a fantasy novel to complete the "Sweep" series by Cate Tiernan, it is NOT the fifteenth book but a stand alone novel, based many years later than the series. It is written in the third person narrative looking half at Morgan, and half at her daughter, Moira.

Morgan has moved to Ireland. Morgan believes hunter to be dead, due to a storm and the ferry he was on sinking, she re-maries, the book is set six months after her husband, Colm dies in a car crash in London.
