Inaugurated in 1977, the Nigerian Television Authority is the government owned body in charge of television broadcasting in the country. Some of its programming can be viewed online through Africast. Some NTA News bulletins are carried on Africa Independent Television, and some are relayed in turn by BEN Television in the United Kingdom.
