Nigel Scullion

Nigel Gregory Scullion (Born May 4, 1956), Australian politician, has been a member of the Australian Senate for the Northern Territory since November 2001, representing the Country Liberal Party. He sits with the National Party in the Senate. In January, 2007, he was appointed Minister for Community Services in the Australian Government.
He was born in London, England and educated at Deakin High School in Canberra, Australia. He is married with 3 children. Before entering the Senate he was a Professional Fisherman, has a Marine Skippers Ticket (Master 5 Trading and Fishing) and is a Graduate of the Australian Rural Leadership Program.
