Nigel Mitchell (born in Kingston in Surrey on September 19, 1978) is a British television presenter who was a presenter on interactive game show Play DJ and currently presents a radio show on Capital Disney.

Mitchell started his TV career as a presenter on the kids' television station Nickelodeon, being their youngest TV presenter in history. Nigel went on to work for Disney Channel and CITV. Nigel has hosted live award shows from the Royal Albert Hall and London Arena on several occasions. Nigel is known for presenting ITV PLAY show Quizmania which was canceled in January 2007. Prior to the introduction of Play DJ, Nigel also did voice-over work on ITV Playalong on selected days. After the end of Disney's Studio Disney live show, Nigel continued to be a voice-over for Disney Channel, and Disney Channel +1. Nigel's latest television career was on the late ITV Play game show, Play DJ

Nigel can be found Friday afternoons presenting a radio show for 8-16 year olds on Capital Disney. Nigel's show is called Nigel Mitchell's Friday Afternoon Thing at London's Leicester Square. His show is broadcast from 4pm - 7pm, and is produced by Radio Rendle, also a producer of Nigel on the late ITV show, Play DJ

At a young age, Nigel had a liking to radio presenting, being very lucky to receive a job presenting at Kingston FM.

His radio show has proven very popular with young and older viewers. Viewers have many ways of listening to this show, and the station.

Nigel was one of the original presenters of Play DJ, an interactive Game Show on ITV Play, which debuted on Monday 11th December 2006. Nigel had mostly presented on his own on Play DJ. Some other presenters of the show included Greg Scott, Emma Lee, Amy Garcia, and Tim Dixon. The show was taken off air, due to ITV Play changing the name of the channel (which is not on air) to ITV 2 +1. The new channel will air soon.

As part of Wish Upon A Star, Nigel Mitchell and Cial Turner travelled on six track rides at Port Aventura, Universal Studios, Barcelona, Spain covered a distance of 4,302.03m (14,114 ft 1.2 inches) in 46 minutes and 22 seconds.

Nigel also attempted a world record attempt for stacking pancakes at the Disney Channel studio.
