Nigel Leask

Professor Nigel Leask is the current Regius Chair of English Language and Literature at the University of Glasgow, having been appointed to the post in September 2004. It was not until December 2006, however, that he delivered his inaugural lecture. Prior to taking up the position, Nigel Leask was a reader in Romantic Literature at the University of Cambridge.

His areas of interest include romantic literature and culture, in which he has published widely and gained an international reputation.
