Nieuwland (51°54′N 5°1′E) is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Zederik, and lies about 8 km north of Gorinchem.

In 2001, the town of Nieuwland had 453 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.078 km2, and contained 165 residences.[1] The statistical area "Nieuwland", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 780.[2]
