[edit] Chronological order

The paragraph that begins "Petrescu-Comnen soon joined the National Liberal Party (PNL)…" seems not to have matters in chronological order. Also, I presume that he was not "appointed" to parliament, but I had to read this three times to see that it was not claiming he was. I'm afraid to mess with it, because I don't want to associate any information with the wrong citation. Can someone who knows what is going on here fix this? - Jmabel | Talk 01:28, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

I had a dilemma when writing the text. I the "Having studied..." paragraph, where I dealt with his first pseudonym, I wanted to clarify all matters regarding his name change and claim to lineage (since it seemed best to explain in one go why he chose "Comnen" and what reactions this caused). The name change happened before his appointment, but the paragraph deals with part of his diplomatic career - I couldn't think of any other place where these details would fit (doesn't mean that there isn't one); I also thought that readers already knew (from the first paragraph) that he came to be a diplomat, which also allowed me to blur the lines in chronology. Feel free to make any changes if you believe there's a better and more coherent way in which this can be expressed. Dahn 01:58, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
The edits you made just after that last remark address my issue about chronology. - Jmabel | Talk 06:24, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
