Nicotine is a P2P file sharing program using the Soulseek Network.

Description from Official Website:

Nicotine is a SoulSeek client written in Python, based on the PySoulSeek project by Alexander Kanavin. It features, among other things, a completely rewritten graphical user interface which uses the PyGTK-2 toolkit and a less strict user request policy.

There is also a program called Nicotine Plus that is more up to date

From the website it is unclear as to whether development will continue on this program. It appears that the developer may be switching focus to the Linux-only Museek client.[1]
