Nicole Forester was born on November 19, 1972 in Ann Arbor, Michigan as Nicole Theresa Schmidt and is an American actress.

She joined the cast of the CBS soap opera Guiding Light on November 4, 2005, taking over the role of Cassie Layne Winslow, previously originated and played by Laura Wright.

Before she joined the cast of Guiding Light, She played recurring roles on Two and a Half Men, Will & Grace, Monk, and Beverly Hills 90210, among others. Most recently, Forester worked with Saturday Night Live’s Chris Kattan to develop a new sitcom for ABC.

Outside of her work on screen, Forester is involved with charity organizations both in New York and Los Angeles, and sings in the acoustic trio, Telegraph Road. With a strong background in jazz and ballet, Forester studied musical theatre at Western Michigan University and performance at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Forester also studied at the Goethe Institute in Schwabisch Hall, Germany, and at UCLA, where she developed her fluency in German.

Forester guest starred in two of the Star Trek spin-offs. She played a dabo girl in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Distant Voices". She also guest starred in Star Trek: Enterprise.
