Nicolas Canales is a Chilean international footballer from Santiago, Chile. He was born on June 27, 1985 and he currently plays for Gondomar SC. Canales was part of Benfica B's (Youth squad). He debuted with Universidad de Chile.
Canales debuted with Universidad de Chile where he won the Apertura in 2004 and reached the final of the Clausura in 2005.
He has currently 5 goals in 9 matches in the Liga de Honra and is expected to return to Benfica earlier then expected.
