Nicolae Guţă (pronounced "goot-sa"; IPA: nikɒlɑːɛ ɡʊ/ʦ/ə) is one of the most famous Romanian manele singers. He was born in Hunedoara, Romania. He had a relationship with Sorina Guţă, another famous manele singer. He adopted 'Guţă' as a stage name, his original name being Linguraru. One of his famous songs is "Aş renunţa". In 2007 he stole the song that placed 3rd in ESC 2006(Lejla, by Hari mata Hari and he named it "Cine esti?" (Who are you?)
