Nicodemus of Palermo

St. Nicodemus of Palermo, bishop (died in 1083). In 1072, he celebrated the entry of Roger in Palermo and the end of the muslim domain in the city. Because of its fidelity to the new orthodox church, he went out of Palermo. The new politic power installed a catholic bishop in Palermo.
