Nico is the third and final album by the band Blind Melon, released in 1996 by Capital Records. The album was released after lead singer Shannon Hoon's death in 1995. The album was named for his daughter, Nico Blue. It features unreleased versions of previous songs ('No Rain' and 'St Andrews Fall') cover versions ('The Pusher' (Steppenwolf) and 'John Sinclair' (John Lennon)) as well as 'unfinished' and 'rare' recordings of the band and Shannon alone.
