Nickey Brennan

Nickey Brennan (born December 3, 1953) is the President of the Gaelic Athletic Association in Ireland. He was elected to that position in 2005, and succeeded Seán Kelly in 2006. Brennan will serve as president until 2009.

As well as being involved in the administration of the Association, he is a former manager of the Kilkenny senior hurling team. He also won All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship medals with Kilkenny in 1974, 1975, 1979, 1982 and 1983, as well as two National Hurling League titles.
