nick ac is the working name of Nicholas Ashley-Cooper (born 3 June 1979), a British DJ working in the New York techno music. He formed the notable collective ROBOTS in 2004 with several other New York DJs, establishing a weekly event at Club Deville. In the summer of 2006, he established a residency at Privilege Ibiza.

Ashley-Cooper is the 12th Earl of Shaftesbury having succeeded to the title at the death of his brother, Anthony, in 2005.
