Nick "Moxy" Mead (Born in New Jersey) is the seraphic lead singer of The Faded Spades. His commanding stage presence and charismatic lure are reminiscent of rock & rolls glory days. Moxy is resurrecting rock & roll with strong blues roots and captivating lyrics.

Nick graduated form La Quinta High School in 2000. He was senior class president. Nick has a strong family history in wrestling and was the team captain of La Quintas undefeated Desert Valley League champion wrestling team. Nick has served as assistant coach at La Quinta High School for the past four years, producing state wrestling qualifier David “Zowie” Razo.
