Nick Weatherspoon

Nick Levoter Weatherspoon (born July 20, 1950, in Greenwood, Mississippi) is an American former professional basketball player.
A 6'7" small forward from Canton McKinley High School and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he was selected by the Capital Bullets with the 13th pick of the 1973 NBA Draft.

- During his playing days, Weatherspoon was nicknamed "Spoon," a nickname shared by future NBA player Clarence Weatherspoon (no relation).
