Nick Waplington

Nick Waplington was born in the U.K in 1965 and studied at the Royal College in London. He is noted for his conceptual approach to photography and has also produced a vast body of work in other mediums such as installation and video art. Waplington is something of a prankster with a dry dark black humour permeating through all of his creative output. Standout pieces include "Learn how to die the easy way" which was first exhibited at the Venice Biannale in 2001 and "Terry Painter" a graphic novel first exhibited at Andrea Rosen Gallery in New York in 2003.
His photographic books include "You Love Life" Trolley books (2005) and " Living Room" Aperture (1991).
