Nick Sorensen (born July 31, 1978 in Winter Haven, FL) is an American football player who currently plays safety (#41) for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was a four-year letterman for Virginia Tech who started at safety and linebacker each of his final two seasons where he posted 117 tackles, 10 tackles for losses, four sacks and an interception. He began his college career as a quarterback, and completed 42 of 80 passes for 446 yards with four touchdowns and nine interceptions. He was signed by the St. Louis Rams in 2001.
