Nick Oshiro is an American drummer. He started out with a drumkit made by his father as he stated in an interview with Tama. It was made of old pots and pans, of which his father made a whole kit from. Already at the age of 10, he wanted to be a rockstar after seeing a Whitesnake video. He was formerly a drummer for the South African rock band Seether, which he left in 2003. He is currently in the lineup of the metal industrial band, Static-X. Nick Oshiro uses a Tama drumkit ( It's a Starclassic Maple (Blue Galaxy Fade)), and uses Sabian AAX cymbals. Some of his influences are Abe Cunningham, Morgan Rose and Tim Alexander.
