Nicholas Allen Masset (born May 17, 1982 in St. Petersburg, Florida) is a righthanded starting pitcher for Major League Baseball's Chicago White Sox. He was selected in the eighth round of the 2000 entry draft by the Texas Rangers. Masset attended St. Petersburg Junior College prior to entering the Rangers farm system in 2004.
Masset had minor league stints with the Single-A Stockton Ports, Double-A Frisco RoughRiders and Triple-A Oklahoma RedHawks prior to his first call-up in June 2006.
Masset was traded to the White Sox on December 23, 2006, along with John Danks and Jacob Rasner for Brandon McCarthy and David Paisano
