Nick Leason
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nick Leason is a British racing driver currently driving a Vauxhall Astra Coupe in the British Touring Car Championship. He previously entered for the last 2 rounds (6 races) of 2006 at Brands Hatch and Silverstone. Nick Leason achieved a final championship position of 24th, and was the third best driver to do only the last 1/2 rounds of the series, behind Paul O'Neill and Tom Ferrier. Leason has announced he will compete in his first full BTCC season in 2007.
Before resuming racing in 2006 Nick had not raced since 2002 (pathetic 2005 season with Seat Cupras seems to be ommitted) when he came 6th in the Lamborghini Supertrophy, although before this he had raced every year since 1996.
