Nick Etchells

Nick Etchells is a reporter for Seven News in Australia.
Etchells graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a business degree. He then joined regional television station WIN Television in Rockhampton, Queensland for nine months. He then worked with Brisbane radio station 4BC. Two years later, Etchells moved to the Channel 10 news team as a senior court reporter.
Some of the biggest stories he has covered include the trail of Robert Long, the jailings of Pauline Hanson and Queensland Chief Magistrate Di Fingleton, the Melbourne reaction to the hanging of Van Tuong Nguyen and the NAB's foreign trading scandal.
Etchells joined Channel Seven in Melbourne in early 2004. From December 2006, Etchells took over from Anna Coren as Seven's US correspondent but he has since returned back to Melbourne as Senior Eeporter for Seven News.
