[edit] Songs
Many songs parody things or people in Springfield and the surrounding area. Such as in the band's version of Walking in Memphis, called "Walking in Branson", is the line "walking in cashew chicken land", which refers to the many cashew chicken restaurants in Springfield. Another subject often found in their songs is Springfield businessman John Q. Hammons.
Examples of their original songs include:
- Walking in Branson
- Mr. Hammons
- The Country Song- Ned "The Band" names every country in the world in song.
If an audience member at the McSalty's show has a birthday, the band works their name into a song. The band also plays their own renditions of other popular songs, such as Hey Jude and Pump up the Jam.
